About Izzy
"I was born and raised in Porirua and am immensely proud to call our city home. I went to school at Holy Family School and Bishop Viard College right in the heart of Porirua. My 2 youngest children now attend Rangikura School (where I have been Chair of the Board of Trustees for 9 years).
Currently I live in beautiful Whitby, along with my husband Glynn and our three children Jayden (15), Taylah (10) and Bella (7). I love where I live and I am always proud to say that my roots are in Eastern Porirua where I grew up, and further back to my family heritage in Samoa.
A former Black Fern representing New Zealand, today I am Deputy Mayor of Porirua, a Board member with the Wellington Rugby Union and this term have also been an elected Trustee at the Porirua Community Trust.
I've been heavily involved in Porirua sport, volunteer where I can and I believe that people are the heart and soul of community".
